Trader Joe’s Yellow Curry Chicken

Filed under: Food — shellhead @ 9:24 pm

Price: Approx. $5/lb

Pros: Strong asian flavors.  Notes of ginger, lemongrass, and curry (yes, there is curry) all easily distinguishable.  Cooks in 3-4 minutes.

Cons: Instructions call for grilling the chicken, which means losing all of the marinade.

Summary:  TJ’s Yellow Curry Chicken is a winner in my book.  It is both cheap and easy to make.  Throw it on the grill or pan for a few minutes and you’ve got yourself a meal.  The chicken is moist and flavorful and goes great with rice or on top of a salad.
